Realize Records has partnered with comedian/actress/writer Vanessa Hollingshead for the digital release An American Anglomaniac recorded live at Gotham Comedy Club. Hollingshead who has been featured in her own Comedy Central special and can currently be seen in Showtime’s comedy special Funny Women of a Certain Age alongside Fran Drescher, Carole Montgomery, Luenell, Lynn Koplitz, and Kerry Louise was recently named one of the top ten innovators who changed comedy in 2019. When asked about Vanessa’s comedy Jerry Seinfeld stated, extremely funny, great strong point of view and really fresh material.” Vanessa has appeared on Sirius/XM radio shows, Marc Maron’s podcast WTF and is currently in development on a TV show about her life. Vanessa’s need to perform came partly from her childhood.
