Realize Records has formed a new partnership with musician and songwriter Mareza Hariri. Hariri, singer/songwriter of the Iranian band Vandida, is set to begin his first solo recording in the US in late summer. Hariri was signed to the record label in the spring of 2015 and has been preparing for his music to be launched in the United States. Hariri commented, “I’m so glad to have this opportunity to work with such a well known professional team. I look forward to taking my career to the next level and sharing my music with those in the United States.”

Hailing from Tehran, Iran, Mareza grew up hearing his father play the piano. As a self taught musician of multiple instruments Mareza eventually formed the popular band Vandida. After performing a three month tour in Istanbul, Mareza’s performances were reviewed by Tag Spiegel, and Playboy New York, sparking his name briefly in the U.S. Mareza caught his break when a band member of Underground Dream, already signed to the Realize Records label, heard his music. The band member passed Mareza’s music onto Realize Records CEO, Michel Grey. “I loved that he worked in so many different genres. At the time, we were actively seeking skilled musicians who are also songwriters that could handle writing diverse music for our upcoming productions that would also have the ability to translate to radio airplay.”, states Grey.
