Dead City Radio releases their second digital track, “2000 Children” through RR this month. The rock trio featured Steve Miller on drums, Dave Manners on guitar and Paul Lewis on Vocals. The band formed as a alternative to the group YNOT?! which was known for it’s europop/rock sound, when members wanted to experiment with a edgier rock sound. “2000 Children” features a bluesy slide guitar and subject matter that pleads for the world to get it together to stop abuse, poverty and racism. Lewis, who wrote the lyrics in the early nineties states, ” I figured when I wrote those lyrics we would have had it together by now. I never would have guessed it would be worse. It’s seriously time we stop all of the craziness and start taking care of each other and our planet.” The label has additional tracks slated for release later this year. This single is now available on Itunes and Amazon.
