Kim Cameron and Side FX, one of DC’s leading up and coming bands announced today that they have signed with indie label Realize Records. The label will release and distribute the bands sophomore release, Turning Point. The cd is due to hit stores and will be available online in January of 2010. This is the first 360 deal for the label.

In an industry that is constantly changing, the band seemed ahead of the curve. The first single “Timeless” from their upcoming release hits radio this week. The video for the song has already garnered over 6,000 views on youtube. The band motto of “More than Just Music”, their innovative marketing along with their eclectic mix of genres that showcase Kim’s complexity and diversity as a songwriter and a woman have garnered them airplay on countless US and international radio stations, hundreds of thousands of matches on Google and website hits just within the last year. The band has recently been featured on MTV, More Magazine and the Joey Reynolds show to name a few with upcoming performances at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles and at the Gaylord National Hotel and resort on New Years Eve.
